The President of Turkmenistan was awarded a badge of distinction for employees of the diplomatic service
The Parliament of Turkmenistan has awarded President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov a badge of distinction for employees of the diplomatic service of Türkmenistanyň ussat diplomaty (“Honored Diplomat of Turkmenistan”), the “Watan” information program of the state television reported.
The badge was awarded "for a huge personal contribution to the development of the foreign policy of Turkmenistan, expansion of relations with other countries, as well as international structures," the Resolution of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh says.
The award was presented to the head of state today after an expanded meeting of the Government of the country.
We remind that the insignia for employees of the diplomatic service of Turkmenistan was established a year ago.
