The head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of conferring on him a high Russian award - the Order of Friendship, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
“Esteemed Serdar Gurbangulyevich! I heartily congratulate you on being awarded the Russian Order of Friendship.
May this event, which symbolizes strong mutual understanding and benevolent cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan, inspire you to further active creation in order to increase the good traditions of fruitful interstate cooperation, which is of strategic importance both for the peoples of the two countries and for strengthening world peace. I am sincerely happy for you and sincerely wish you great success in your responsible activities for the benefit of your country, good health and happiness,” reads the congratulatory message, the text of which was published on May 25 on the website of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
At the end of the letter, Rustam Minnikhanov expressed hope for the steady development of multilateral interactions between the fraternal peoples of Russia and Turkmenistan.
