On July 4, esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the heads of regions and the Deputy Prime Minister for Agro-Industrial Complex, announced the “Watan” news program of Turkmen television.
The meeting discussed the course of seasonal field work in the country, and issues of socio-economic development of the regions. The hyakims of the velayats reported on the measures taken to organize the wheat harvest without losses, timely settlement with grain growers for the harvest, and plowing the land after harvesting in accordance with agrotechnical requirements.
At the same time, efforts are being made to successfully solve the set tasks for harvesting the grown crop of potatoes, vegetables and other agricultural products. It was also reported on the progress of construction work at social and industrial facilities.
After reviewing the information provided, the esteemed President stressed that it is important to make every effort to fulfill the tasks set, not to slow down the pace of harvesting and take measures to harvest wheat to the last grain.
The head of state focused on the fact that one of the most important tasks facing agricultural producers is to supply the population with potatoes, vegetables and other domestic products.
Emphasizing the importance of transferring agricultural land from remote territories to the cultivated zones of the velayats, the esteemed President urged not to delay in resolving this issue.
The head of state instructed to keep under control the pace of construction of social and industrial facilities, which are planned to be put into operation this year, noting that the fulfillment of the tasks set is a requirement of the time and will contribute to the socio-economic development of the country and improve the welfare of the population.
