President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers on February 13, at which the results of work completed in 2025 were summarized, and reports from Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, a number of ministers, and velayat hakims were heard. Prospective tasks for the country's socio-economic development for 2026 and personnel matters were also brought to the agenda.
Invited to the extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers were leaders of the Mejlis, members of the State Security Council, regional hakims, hakims of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, rectors of higher educational institutions, heads of mass media, and others.
Addressing the session participants, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that as a result of the diligent work of our people in 2025, great successes have been achieved, planned objectives have been fulfilled, and work has continued on developing and implementing modern laws.
Making special emphasis on the fact that our key goal is the further prosperity of our native Motherland, the Head of State expressed firm confidence that through united selfless labor, together with the people, all goals and milestones set for 2026 will be achieved.
