Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev reported on the performance of the ministries and industry agencies under his supervision, as well as the business sector, for January and February of this year.
As reported, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations reported a 106.7 percent growth rate in trade turnover and a 100.5 percent growth rate in production, compared to the same period last year.
Compared to the same period last year, the production growth rate of the Ministry of Textile Industry reached 100.7 percent, including a 100 percent growth rate in cotton yarn, a 100.1 percent growth rate in cotton fabric, and a 103.7 percent growth rate in leather goods.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of fully utilizing the shopping center's production facilities and continuously monitoring the supply of food and other products to markets and retail outlets.
