Turkmenistan to send humanitarian aid to the Islamic Republic of Iran
The President of Turkmenistan, following the ancient traditions of good neighborliness and humanism of our people, signed an Order on the occasion of the holy month of Oraza and the Gadyr Gijesi (Night of Power). According to the document, a humanitarian cargo consisting of medicines, medical products, and other goods will be sent to the people of the neighboring Islamic Republic of Iran, especially to children. This charitable action is carried out on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. This noble initiative is a continuation of the cultural and spiritual principles of the Turkmen people developed over centuries, such as extending a helping hand to friendly nations in difficult times. The organization of this regular humanitarian aid is another celebration of the peace-loving foreign policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan.
