Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Turkmenistan, Ahmet Demirok. During the meeting held on March 31 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, important issues of further developing bilateral cooperation were discussed. Opinions were also exchanged on key areas of the regional and international agenda.
The parties emphasized the high level of political and diplomatic relations, noted with satisfaction the positive experience of interaction between the two countries on international platforms, and confirmed their intention to continue providing mutual support for each other's initiatives.
The diplomats paid special attention to the issues of expanding trade and economic cooperation and strengthening interaction in the energy and transport sectors.
The meeting also reviewed the prospects for developing cultural and humanitarian ties, including the organization of joint events and mutual participation in international forums.
Following the talks, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening and expanding the multifaceted cooperation between the two friendly nations.
