During the trip, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with projects and layouts of new facilities in the southern part of the capital, at the intersection of Bitarap Turkmenistan and Archabil avenues. With the commissioning of this Center with a total area of over 29 thousand square meters, new jobs will appear.
The report also provided information on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan power transmission line project and measures taken to increase the export of electricity.
Along with this, a project of a hybrid solar-wind power plant on the territory of the Turkmen lake "Altyn asyr" with a capacity of 10 megawatts, a work plan for transferring the Akhal and Dashoguz state power plants to combined management, as well as relevant information and a plan on the supply of Turkmen electricity were submitted for consideration. to neighboring countries.
As reported, with the implementation of this work, the efficiency of electricity production will increase from 34 to 52 percent.
The project of a solar-wind power plant with a capacity of 10 megawatts was prepared by the research and production center of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan in accordance with the Action Plan for the implementation of the Concept for the development of the Turkmen Lake region "Altyn asyr" in 2019-2025. The advantage of combined power plants is their high performance without additional costs of natural gas and environmental friendliness.
Noting the key role of the energy complex in the dynamic social and economic development of the country, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the work being done and international cooperation in this area.
