The 13th volume of the scientific and encyclopedic work of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan" was published in Turkmenistan. The head of state presented the new volume of the collection during today's meeting of the Government, according to the State Information Agency of the country.
The release of the new book is timed to coincide with the Day of Healthcare Workers and the Medical Industry, President said.
The head of Turkmenistan instructed Deputy Prime Minister Sapardurdy Toylyev to ensure the organized presentation of the new edition to doctors on a holiday.
This is the third book written by the President of Turkmenistan in 2021. In May of this year, on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the capital, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's book "The White City of Ashgabat" was published, and on the eve of the 30th anniversary of independence, a book with the symbolic title "Independence is our happiness" was published.
In general, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is the author of a number of books on various topics dedicated to Turkmen history, Akhal-Teke horses, Turkmen carpets, music, tea, proverbs, Turkmen alabay and sports. The electronic library of works by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, opened by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, contains more than 60 books, many of which have been translated into foreign languages.
