On April 3, 2026, sports events dedicated to World Health Day were held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.

The events included competitions in chess, checkers, and table tennis. During the competitions, it was emphasized that the development of physical culture and sports, as well as creating conditions for young people to lead a healthy lifestyle, are among the priority directions of Turkmenistan’s state policy.

In Ankara, on April 5, 2026, a football tournament was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey. Participants demonstrated not only excellent sporting skills but also strong team spirit. The tournament concluded with a spectacular final, leaving spectators with unforgettable impressions.

Additionally, ahead of World Health Day, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine organized a “Health Week,” which included a series of sports and wellness activities aimed at promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among young people and Turkmen citizens abroad.
