Important issues of state life of Turkmenistan discussed

On April 18, Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. The meeting reviewed various sectors of state life, including the improvement of legislation, economy, energy, agriculture, and culture. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.

The meeting began with information on modernizing the country's legislative framework. Specifically, it was noted that new draft laws regarding human rights protection, industrial safety, migration, and the economy were adopted. The Head of State instructed to continue preparing new legal acts that meet international standards.

Within the framework of economic and financial issues, a proposal to conduct audits of the annual financial statements of banking institutions based on international standards was discussed. Emphasizing the importance of improving the banking system, the President initiated work in this direction.

A historically significant step was taken in the energy sector. A Resolution was adopted to establish the "Galkynyşgaz" state enterprise within the "Türkmengaz" State Concern. This entity will oversee work carried out in cooperation with Chinese companies as part of the fourth stage of the "Galkynyş" gas field development and will manage new facilities.

In agriculture, attention was focused on completing the cotton sowing within the established deadlines, caring for wheat fields, and preparing for the grain harvest. Additionally, specific instructions were given to the Vice Prime Minister regarding high-level preparations for the National Holiday of the Turkmen Steed.

In the construction sector, a proposal to introduce a new national estimate-normative base was supported. This innovation will allow for the organization of construction work on a scientific basis in accordance with modern requirements and the implementation of advanced technologies.

In the sphere of international cooperation, a report was presented on preparations for the Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum and exhibition to be held in the capital. Over 80 major Chinese companies are expected to participate, which will bring the trade and economic relations between the two countries to a new level.

In the cultural and humanitarian sphere, in cooperation with the TURKSOY organization, events dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the famous composer Veli Muhadov and Opera Days are planned. Along with this, issues regarding the organized conduct of the children's summer holiday season in Gökdere, the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone, and the provinces were discussed.

In the transport system, new proposals to improve the quality of services for the population and to renew bus fleets were approved. Several other important documents were also signed during the meeting, and the Head of State wished all participants success in their work.
