On April 18, Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. During the meeting, important issues related to various areas of the country's state life were reviewed, and relevant decisions were made. Chairperson of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova reported on the work performed to improve national legislation. As noted, several new laws in areas such as human rights protection, industrial safety, accounting, migration, and the road industry were adopted at the parliamentary session held on April 11.

Currently, the Mejlis is analyzing proposals received from various sectors and continuing the preparation of new draft laws. The report also mentioned that Turkmen parliamentarians participated in the regional inter-parliamentary dialogue on the development of the circular economy held in Tashkent.

After hearing the report, the Head of State emphasized the importance of bringing the legislative framework into line with modern requirements and working on new draft laws. Our President specifically noted that activities in this area play a major role in the economic and political development of the country.
