On April 18, Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. During the meeting, seasonal works carried out in the country's agricultural complex and issues of preparation for the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse were discussed. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.

Vice-Prime Minister Tangryguly Atahallyyew, who oversees the agricultural sector, reported on the measures implemented to complete the cotton sowing within the established deadlines and to conduct the first agrotechnical care on the cultivated fields. It was also noted that work on fertilization with mineral nutrients and irrigation continues in the wheat fields.

The report paid special attention to the preparations for the upcoming grain harvest season. It was announced that grain reception points, elevators, and grain harvesters across the country are currently being fully prepared for operation. Along with this, silkworm care and cleaning of irrigation canals are being carried out consistently.

In addition, relevant preparations are underway to organize celebratory events on the occasion of the widely celebrated National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse. The Vice-Prime Minister informed the Head of State about the cultural and mass events planned within the framework of the holiday program.

After hearing the report, the Honorable President noted the importance of consistently developing the agro-industrial complex and conducting cotton sowing in accordance with agrotechnical standards. The Head of State gave specific instructions on caring for wheat fields and creating a solid foundation for the grain harvest.

Emphasizing that the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse plays a significant role in the life of our people, the President instructed the Vice-Prime Minister to ensure that all holiday events are held at a high and organized level.
