Turkmenistan's automotive transport sector undergoes modernization

On April 18, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. During the meeting, Vice-Premier Batyr Annayev reported on the ongoing work to improve the material and technical base of the country's automotive transport sector. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" online newspaper.

Currently, as a result of the purchase of new, modern buses and other motor vehicles, the range of transport services provided to the population in the capital and provinces is expanding. To further enhance the quality of transport services, active cooperation with foreign partners continues.

After hearing the report, the Head of State approved a new proposal to improve passenger transportation. Emphasizing the importance of systematically strengthening the material and technical base of the industry, the President instructed the Vice-Premier to implement specific measures in this direction.

At the end of the meeting, other important issues of state life were also reviewed, and relevant decisions were made.
