The Ministry of Automobile Roads of Turkmenistan has announced an international open tender for the reconstruction and construction of the Ashgabat — Dashoguz highway. This was reported by the "Business Turkmenistan" website, citing the official Turkmen press.

As noted, the announced tender is conducted in six lots. Accordingly, the reconstruction of the highway will consist of four sections.

As part of the planned works, a new highway bridge will be built along the road and 9 existing highway bridges will be renovated.

"Documents and proposals from parties wishing to participate in the tender are accepted within 30 (thirty) working days after the date of publication of the international open tender," the report states.
