On April 23, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse, awarding the honorary title «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan atşynasy» («Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan») to a number of citizens of the country. This was reported by the electronic newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

The titles were awarded to:

– groom of the Equestrian Sports and Equestrian Tourism Department of the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the State Association «Türkmen atlary», Gylyjov Rejepmuhammet Atayevich;

– private horse breeder Borjakov Ataberdi;

– private horse breeder from Ashgabat, Bashimov Bashim Ovezmyradovich;

– private horse breeder from Balkan velayat, Orazmyradov Orazdurdy Mammetniyazovich;

– private horse breeder from Dashoguz velayat, Rejepov Hemra Tazebayevich.

The awards were granted for significant achievements in promoting the «heavenly» horses around the world, developing the horse breeding industry, preserving and improving the breeding and productive qualities of Turkmen horses, as well as for many years of conscientious and exemplary work.
