On April 24, Honorable President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system. During the meeting, information was presented on the results of work to modernize the country's legislative framework. In particular, the Chairperson of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, informed on the preparation of new draft laws. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.

Currently, work is underway on documents regarding the creation of a new jubilee medal dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence, the state registration of rights to real estate, and amendments to the Customs Code. Relevant measures are also being taken to provide legal support for the country's accession to international documents.

With the aim of developing parliamentary diplomacy, Turkmen representatives participated in the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and other international forums held in Istanbul. Additionally, it was noted that an exchange of experience took place during the first meeting of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian States.

The Head of State highly praised the preparation of new draft laws and emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to consistently improve national legislation.
