Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev reported at the government meeting on April 24 on the practical steps being taken to further modernize the textile industry. This was reported by the online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

As reported, necessary measures are currently being implemented to produce various types of high-quality wool yarn from local raw materials, which is in high demand on foreign markets. This is aimed at meeting domestic market demand and increasing the export potential of Turkmenistan.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the textile industry is being effectively developed in the country and that high-quality products are produced at modern textile enterprises. The Head of State instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out relevant work on commissioning a new production facility at the textile complex in the city of Bayramaly, Mary velayat.
