Preparations for the 25th "White City Ashgabat" multidisciplinary international exhibition and conference, to be held in the capital of Turkmenistan, are continuing at a rapid pace. This jubilee forum, scheduled for May 24–25, is dedicated to Ashgabat City Day and will provide a platform to discuss the development of architecture, construction, and industrial sectors at an international level. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.
This international event will bring together representatives of state institutions, international organizations, as well as the world's leading engineering and construction companies. The forum will serve not only as a venue for presenting new projects but also as an important business platform for the implementation of investment initiatives.
The forum's program is very extensive, with main events set to take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the "Olympia" Hotel. Its framework includes the opening ceremony of the exhibition, thematic sessions, a plenary session, and high-level round table meetings with the participation of international organizations.
The active participation of the United Nations in this forum further enhances its international significance. High-level officials and experts from the UN Economic Commission for Europe, the Habitat Program, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will share global experiences in sustainable urban construction.
During the round table discussion, held as a continuation of the international dialogue, representatives of UNIDO, international financial institutions, scientists, and youth organizations will consider practical solutions for sustainable development. Such a diverse range of participants demonstrates that Ashgabat's modern development principles are at the center of the international community's attention.
The conceptual basis of the conference is formed by the "Ashgabat 2045" strategic theme, which envisions a sustainable and technologically advanced future for our capital. Digital solutions, energy-saving construction, and smart city infrastructure management will be the main directions of the discussions. The 2026 forum will unite numerous international organizations and business structures, showcasing Turkmenistan's vast investment opportunities.
