On April 22, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the United States Esen Aydogdyev met with IMF Executive Director Patrick Loewestein at the International Monetary Fund headquarters in Washington. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen Embassy in the United States.
During the meeting, the parties assessed the current state of bilateral cooperation and identified key areas for further engagement. Primary attention was given to improving technical coordination between the IMF and Turkmenistan's state financial institutions in order to ensure a more integrated and practical approach to implementing shared economic priorities.
Ambassador Aydogdyev reaffirmed Turkmenistan's commitment to a constructive, results-oriented dialogue with international financial organizations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed firm determination to continue productive and mutually beneficial cooperation.
