On April 27, the Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system to review the progress of seasonal agricultural activities in the country and issues related to the socio-economic development of the regions. The meeting was attended by Vice-Prime Minister Tangryguly Atahallyev and regional governors, who reported on the work being carried out on-site. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

In their reports, the regional governors provided information on measures taken for the care of wheat fields, the preparation of machinery and elevators for the grain harvest, the completion of cotton sowing, and the implementation of inter-row cultivation in areas where seedlings have emerged. They also touched upon the care of silkworms and the construction of social and cultural facilities.

After listening to the reports, the Head of State emphasized that all work must be carried out within agro-technical deadlines and on a scientific basis to obtain a bountiful harvest of agricultural crops. The President identified the completion of cotton sowing within the established timeframe and the high-level preparation for the grain harvest as priority tasks.

Vice-Prime Minister T. Atahallyev reported on the general status of ongoing agricultural campaigns throughout the country. The Esteemed President noted the importance of the sector for the national economy and food security, instructing the Vice-Prime Minister to keep activities in this area under consistent control.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the construction quality of various facilities scheduled to open this year. The Head of State gave specific instructions to the governors regarding the timely and high-quality completion of new buildings.

At the conclusion of the working meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants great success in their responsible work for the benefit of the people.
