The Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum and exhibition will begin their work at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. On April 28, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a heartfelt Congratulatory Message to the participants and guests of this large-scale event. The Head of State emphasized that this forum will play an important role in bringing friendly relations and trade-economic cooperation between the two countries to a new level. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
As noted in the President’s Message, relations between Turkmenistan and China have ancient historical roots. The revival of the Great Silk Road in the modern era forms a solid foundation for political, economic, and cultural-humanitarian ties. The alignment of the "Revival of the Great Silk Road" strategy with China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative was highlighted as a key condition for the economic development of both countries.
The People's Republic of China is one of the largest trading partners of Turkmenistan. During the forum, special attention will be paid to expanding bilateral relations in priority areas such as oil and gas, transport, logistics, digital technologies, telecommunications, science, education, and tourism. The importance of the Turkmen-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee in activating business relations was also noted.
The Head of State expressed confidence that this forum and exhibition will reveal the great potential for scientific and technical cooperation. The event will serve as an effective platform for exchanging modern innovations and best practices. This forum, held in our capital, is a clear testament to the strategic partnership between the two states.
At the end of his Message, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the forum participants sound health and great success in their work. The Head of State noted that this event will contribute to the further strengthening of the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the Turkmen and Chinese peoples.
These activities, which will continue in Ashgabat from April 28 to 30, will serve as a key platform for strengthening business relations.
