Akhal-Teke horses to participate in international sports and beauty competitions to be held in Uzbekistan

On May 5, in accordance with the instructions of our esteemed President, a group consisting of members of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association and specialists from the "Türkmen atlary" State Association departed from the capital to participate in equestrian sports and beauty competitions titled "Pearl of the East," as well as the conference "The Akhal-Teke Horse — A Symbol of Friendship Between Nations," to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Along with them, Akhal-Teke horses that will participate in the international competitions were transported to the neighboring country in specialized vehicles. This was reported by the "Türkmenistan" newspaper.

As noted, in the morning, the horses selected for the international events in Uzbekistan were loaded into special vehicles at the stable for 600 horses, located in a beautiful spot at the foot of the Kopetdag Mountains, with wishes for a safe journey. The modern vehicles continued their route along Akhan and Gokdepe avenues in the city of Arkadag.

Moving through the magnificent streets of our capital, the vehicles entered the Ashgabat–Turkmenabat high-speed highway.

The prestigious invitation of our country's delegation to the international horse breeding events in the brotherly nation demonstrates that the large-scale work carried out in independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan to develop this sector, and the tireless efforts of the country's horse breeders in raising Akhal-Teke horses, are generating great interest abroad.

"Organizing equestrian sports and beauty competitions under the name 'Pearl of the East' in Uzbekistan has become a noble tradition in recent years. Farms breeding Akhal-Teke horses in the brotherly country were honored guests at previous years' competitions. This year, the participation of Akhal-Teke horses from Turkmenistan — the ancient cradle of this magnificent treasure of world culture — further enhances the level and significance of the international competition," the report states.
