A Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan) organized a cycling event on May 31, dedicated to a World Bicycle Day. This was reported by the press service of a Turkmen consulate in Astrakhan.

The sporting event started on the embankment of the Volga river. The event was attended by consulate staff and citizens of Turkmenistan studying at higher educational institutions in Astrakhan.

The cycling event, harmoniously combining the country’s rich cultural heritage and its confident progress toward new heights of development, reflected the motto of 2026, «Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses», and also made a significant contribution to further strengthening relations of friendship, trust, and good-neighborliness.

The cycling event concluded in a solemn and festive atmosphere, leaving vivid and pleasant impressions for all participants.
