Turkmenistan and Kuwait Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthening Partnership

In Dushanbe, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan Aymyrat Gochmyradov met with Ambassador of the State of Kuwait Muhammad Rashid Al-Amiri.

During the meeting, the interlocutors noted that Turkmen-Kuwaiti relations are consistently strengthening thanks to the personal attention and support of the leaders of the two states.

It was particularly emphasized that the recent opening of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Dushanbe creates additional opportunities for further expanding bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

The diplomats exchanged views on topical issues on the regional and international agendas. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in continuing a constructive dialogue and further strengthening bilateral interaction.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan briefed his counterpart on events being held in Turkmenistan and abroad under the 2026 motto "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Determined Winged Steeds," as well as on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

As a commemorative gift, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait was presented with the book "A Horse – A Symbol of Faithfulness and Happiness" by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag. Expressing high appreciation for this valuable gift, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait conveyed his sincere gratitude to the Turkmen side.
