President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, the 17th Supreme Head of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, and the friendly people of the country on the occasion of their national holiday—Independence Day.
Emphasizing that Turkmenistan highly values its traditionally friendly relations with Malaysia and attaches great importance to enhancing them on the principles of mutual respect, trust, and equality, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence in their continued successful development and strengthening.
The Head of State also noted that he recalls with particular warmth the negotiations with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim held recently in Ashgabat in an atmosphere of mutual understanding. "During the meeting, the mutual desire to further strengthen the Turkmen-Malaysian partnership was reaffirmed, and important decisions were made to expand and deepen bilateral cooperation," President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized, expressing conviction that the outcomes of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia will serve the interests of our peoples.
Taking this pleasant opportunity, the leader of Turkmenistan addressed sincere wishes of good health and happiness to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and the 17th Supreme Head Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, as well as wishes of peace, well-being, further progress, and prosperity to the Malaysian people.
