The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, congratulated the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the Day of Knowledge and Youth on behalf of the Turkmen people and the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

The congratulatory message lists ongoing programs in the education sector: the Concept for Transitioning to Twelve-Year General Secondary Education in Turkmenistan, the Concept for Improving the Methodology of Teaching General Education Programs in Turkmenistan through 2028, and the Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052.

It is noted that, as part of the reforms, secondary and higher educational institutions, kindergartens, and health and recreation centers equipped with modern equipment are being built in Ashgabat and Arkadag city, as well as in the country's velayats, while innovative teaching methods and digital technologies are being introduced into the educational process. It is also noted that the country's capital, Ashgabat, has been included in the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished the President of Turkmenistan strong health, a long life, and further success in the work of strengthening the educational foundation of the independent, permanently neutral state.
