On August 31, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom for Public Diplomacy Raed bin Khaled Qarmali. This was reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Mr. Raed bin Khaled Qarmali provided an overview of the implementation of the «Vision 2030» program. He noted that this program is aimed at the development of the country's economic and social spheres, and also emphasized that it is being carried out by youth and for youth.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan Muhammetgeldi Ayazov discussed issues of further strengthening political, cultural, scientific-educational and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In particular, he put forward proposals for expanding cooperation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and relevant cooperation documents between higher education institutions. Special attention was paid to the mutual exchange of experience in this field, the training of students, and the joint organization of scientific conferences and exhibitions.
