The first meeting of the working group aimed at developing cooperation between Georgia and Turkmenistan in the fields of education and science was held. The meeting was co-chaired by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Zviad Gabisonia, and the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, Azat Atayev. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.

During the talks, sides discussed avenues for bringing cooperation between the two states in education and science to a new level. The parties paid special attention to implementing joint educational and scientific projects, promoting youth policy initiatives, and expanding cooperation and academic exchanges between higher education institutions. An agreement was reached during the meeting to prepare concrete measures and joint plans for the discussed areas, as well as to implement them in stages.

Participants of the meeting noted that such working consultations will contribute to the mutual exchange of experience, studying advanced educational methods, and identifying new opportunities for partnership. It was also emphasized that these initiatives will serve to further strengthen relations between Georgia and Turkmenistan in education and science, as well as foster long-term cooperation.
