On September 9, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the newly appointed an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Turkmenistan, Alena Grand.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and wished her success in her diplomatic activities.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of Turkmen-French relations. Particular attention was paid to boosting political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, as well as collaboration within international organizations.

The sides expressed their readiness to make joint efforts to further strengthen the partnership between Turkmenistan and the French Republic.
