On September 9, Ashgabat hosted the regular meeting of the Secretariat of the C5+1 multilateral cooperation format, which brings together the Central Asian states and the United States. Participants discussed the further development of the format and practical aspects of cooperation on the priority areas of the regional agenda. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported this.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the implementation of previously reached agreements and considered new proposals aimed at expanding the multilateral cooperation agenda. They also exchanged views on preparations for upcoming meetings and joint events, as well as on coordinating organizational matters.

The parties emphasized the importance of maintaining regular dialogue within the C5+1 framework to strengthen regional cooperation. In this context, particular attention was paid to opportunities for expanding cooperation in the fields of critical minerals, trade, and transport.

The meeting also addressed issues related to enhancing practical cooperation between the Central Asian countries and the United States, including strengthening interaction between relevant government agencies and expert groups.
