National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to the city of Arkadag on September 14, where he reviewed the progress of the second phase of the city's construction. During the visit, he was presented with the designs of a modern school specializing in advanced foreign language education, a kindergarten, a sports complex, and other social facilities, along with their interior design concepts. The «Golden Age» online newspaper reported on the visit.

Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of combining national architectural traditions with modern construction practices, using high-quality building and finishing materials, and ensuring comprehensive landscaping of surrounding areas. He also stressed the need to promote the harmonious development of the younger generation, foster patriotism, and strengthen the teaching of foreign languages, digital technologies, and sports in schools and kindergartens.

As part of the visit, the National Leader held a working meeting with Deryageldi Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan, and Gulshat Mammedova, Mayor of Arkadag. The participants discussed measures to accelerate construction, ensure the timely commissioning of all facilities, prepare celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, and relocate families to newly built residential buildings.

The meeting also addressed the effective management of the city's sports infrastructure. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty expressed dissatisfaction with the current condition of the Arkadag Stadium, issued specific instructions to ensure its proper maintenance, and called for greater accountability among the responsible officials.

The National Leader then reviewed the projects for the madrasa being built within the «Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi» complex. He was presented with plans for equipping classrooms, creating favorable learning conditions for students, and incorporating international best practices. Concluding the visit, Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of completing all planned work in line with high international standards and wished the responsible officials success in implementing the assigned tasks.
