On September 14–15, a two-day training workshop dedicated to developing sustainable transport corridors and strengthening interregional connectivity was held in Yerevan. This international event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia in cooperation with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the workshop, participants discussed key areas for expanding cooperation in the transport sector. The meeting featured the sharing of national practices and examined practical efforts to increase the efficiency, sustainability, and environmental friendliness of transport corridors, as well as measures to remove emerging obstacles.

The event brought together a broad international and expert community. The workshop was attended by government representatives from ESCAP member states, transport and logistics operators, specialists from the private sector and scientific organizations, as well as international development partners.
