President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in and delivered a speech at the first Business Summit “Central Asia — Republic of Korea” held in Seoul on September 16. This was reported by the electronic newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

In his speech, the Head of State described the meeting as an important platform for developing economic, trade, investment and business cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea. The President noted that business communities play an important role in strengthening interstate relations, promoting new joint projects and identifying promising areas of cooperation.

It was emphasized that Turkmenistan is ready to actively participate in the development of international business cooperation, support entrepreneurial initiatives, innovative projects and direct business ties. High appreciation was also given to the role of the Republic of Korea as a reliable partner of Turkmenistan in various sectors of the economy.

During the speech, it was noted that the transport and logistics sector remains one of the priority areas of cooperation. It was stated that Turkmenistan is interested in effectively utilizing the geographical potential of Central Asia and Korea, developing sustainable transport corridors and establishing new logistics connections.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the results of the Business Summit would make an important contribution to expanding cooperation, strengthening mutual trust and developing trade and economic relations between the Central Asian states and the Republic of Korea.
