President of Turkmenistan highlights significance of economic exhibition dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Independence

On September 17, an exhibition of Turkmenistan’s economic achievements opened in Ashgabat on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the country’s Independence. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the participants and guests of the exhibition. In his message, the Head of State emphasized the important role of the exhibition in showcasing the achievements made in the country’s economy during the years of Independence, the implemented reforms and the directions of further development. The electronic newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reported on this.

The large-scale exhibition held in the country serves as a vivid reflection of Turkmenistan’s economic potential, production capabilities, as well as the high achievements attained in various sectors. It presents the work carried out in key areas of the national economy, the introduction of modern technologies, innovative projects and new production opportunities.

In his congratulatory message, Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that today Turkmenistan is widely recognized internationally as a state developing at a high pace, relying on advanced technologies and confidently moving along the path of sustainable economic growth.

The Head of State noted that as a result of the reforms implemented during the years of Independence, industrial sectors have been developed, fundamental transformations have been carried out in agriculture, production capacities have been expanded, and the latest achievements of science and technology have been introduced into all areas of the economy.

The exhibition presents the results achieved and major projects being implemented in such areas as economic diversification, expansion of export opportunities, creation of import-substituting industries and development of digital systems. It also highlights reforms aimed at improving the living standards of the population, as well as the construction of new cities and modern residential complexes.

In his address, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the country’s policy based on the principles of peace, creativity and development, as well as large-scale reforms, are aimed at ensuring the further harmonious development of Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan.
