Decree of the President of Turkmenistan
On the discharge to the reserve from the Armed Forces, other troops, and military bodies of Turkmenistan of servicemen undergoing conscript military service, and the regular conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service
In accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Law of Turkmenistan "On Military Duty and Military Service," I decree:
- To discharge to the reserve in October–December 2026 from the Armed Forces, other troops, and military bodies of Turkmenistan servicemen undergoing conscript military service who have served the terms established by the Law of Turkmenistan "On Military Duty and Military Service."
- To conscript for military service in October–December 2026 male citizens of Turkmenistan who are 18 years old by the day of conscription and have no right to exemption or deferment from military service, as well as male citizens of Turkmenistan up to 27 years of age who have lost the right to a deferment from conscription.
- This Decree shall enter into force upon its publication.

In execution of Decree No. 716 of the President of Turkmenistan dated September 17, 2026, "On the discharge to the reserve from the Armed Forces, other troops, and military bodies of Turkmenistan of servicemen undergoing conscript military service, and the regular conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service," President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order. According to the Order, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of National Security, the Head of the State Border Service, the Head of the Security Service of the President of Turkmenistan, and the Chairman of the State Migration Service are instructed to conduct the discharge of servicemen who have served the terms established by the Law of Turkmenistan "On Military Duty and Military Service" in a ceremonial atmosphere, and to reward top performers in combat and socio-humanitarian training in accordance with discharge plans.
