On September 18, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Speaker of Parliament Dunyagozel Gulmanova provided information on the ongoing efforts to improve the national legislative framework, reports the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

Extensive work is underway in the national Mejlis to introduce amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses, the Labor, Family, and Sanitary Codes, as well as the Laws "On Military Duty and Military Service," "On Administrative Procedures," and "On Courts." Furthermore, relevant preparations are being made for the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and for conferring state awards on citizens in celebration of the 35th anniversary of sacred Independence. Additionally, meetings were held in the Mejlis with representatives of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS and members of the Turkmen-Moldovan interparliamentary friendship group.

Upon hearing the report, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of high-level preparation for the Halk Maslahaty meeting and the continuation of systematic efforts in drafting new legislation.
