On September 18, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital platform, during which a number of issues related to state affairs were discussed.
The Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agajanov reported on measures to further improve the social and living conditions of workers in the oil and gas sector. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
As previously reported, thanks to the unprecedented efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, comfortable housing with all amenities is being built in the country’s velayats for workers in various sectors, including the fuel and energy sector. This contributes to improving the living conditions of our people and boosts their enthusiasm for work.
In this regard, it was reported that, as part of the planned construction in the city of Mary of a residential complex comprising 720 housing units for workers in the oil and gas industry, the necessary measures are being taken to implement the first phase of construction. Specifically, the plan calls for the construction of four 4-story buildings with 40 apartments each and four 4-story buildings with 24 apartments each—for a total of 256 households. In addition, plans are in place to construct ten 4-story buildings, each with 24 apartments, in the city of Balkanabat to house 240 households, and one 12-story building with 72 apartments in the city of Turkmenbashi. Taking this opportunity, , the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guvanch Agajanov, on behalf of the employees of the sector under his supervision, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and the Arkadagly Hero-Serdar for the opportunities being created.
After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the construction of comfortable residential buildings for oil and gas industry workers should continue. Having approved the proposals presented, the Head of State issued a number of instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
