On September 18, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via video conference, during which a number of issues related to state affairs were discussed.

The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on the ongoing work to further develop the country’s social protection system. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

As reported, under the wise leadership of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, practical steps are being taken to improve social security for citizens, implement social guarantees, and modernize existing legislation in this area.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a relevant proposal to the head of state for consideration.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that comprehensive measures are being implemented to improve social security for citizens and provide social guarantees, and he instructed that the legislative framework governing relations in this area be improved.
