The XXVII Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World was held at the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan. The forum, timed to coincide with the glorious 35th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, became a vivid confirmation of the consistent strengthening of close relations with our compatriots living in different countries, who sincerely take pride in the large-scale transformations being carried out in their historical Homeland and its great achievements. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

Thanks to the efforts of Hero-Arkadag and the great humanism of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who is successfully continuing the path of the ancestors, in the era of Renewal of the new epoch of a powerful state, all conditions are being created for the further improvement of the activities of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World.

With the assistance of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, ties with our compatriots from various countries are being steadily strengthened. Turkmens of the world perceive the fate of the Fatherland as an inseparable part of their own destiny and, abroad, worthily represent the achievements of independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan, and also take part in popularizing national traditions and customs. Supporting the state's constructive initiatives, foreign branches of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World regularly hold various events.

Our compatriots also take an active part in the numerous celebrations held in Turkmenistan, widely known as a state promoting initiatives for the sake of peace, well-being, mutual understanding, and trust on a regional and global scale.

Before the start of the forum's work, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the Independence Monument — a symbol of the Motherland's sovereignty and one of the capital's most iconic landmarks.

Then the participants of the XXVII Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World arrived at the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan and viewed an exhibition set up there.

The exhibition displayed museum pieces and works of decorative and applied art acquainting visitors with the history of the Turkmen people. Guests were particularly drawn to examples of national clothing, musical instruments, refined items by master jewelers (zergers), carpets and tapestries, and paintings.

The central place in the exposition was given to the remarkable works of Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, which reflect the spiritual and moral values of the people, the national heritage, and centuries-old history.

Performances by bakhshi musicians lent special color to the exhibition, demonstrating the richness and originality of the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.

The XXVII Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World then began its work.

The State Anthem of Turkmenistan was performed — an inspiring patriotic melody that lives in the hearts of our compatriots.

Next, the Address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the conference participants was read out.

Congratulating the participants on the start of the work of the XXVII Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World, held in the Turkmen capital on the eve of the glorious 35th anniversary of the sacred independence of the beloved Fatherland, the Head of State expressed confidence that this forum, organized during the festive days of the year "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds," would bring together Turkmens of the world at one dastarkhan and would be of great importance for the further development of relations of friendship and brotherhood.

In his message, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the special role of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World in popularizing the rich culture, distinctive traditions, and history of the Turkmen people, as well as its modern achievements.

In the year marking the celebration of the sacred independence of the Fatherland, the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World turns 35 years old since its founding. Over this period, the Association, having brought together compatriots from all corners of the earth at one dastarkhan, has been carrying out effective work to popularize the achievements of our Homeland in the world, to expand ties in the economy, culture, science, education, healthcare, tourism, and entrepreneurship, and to enrich our material and spiritual heritage. Members of the Association become witnesses to glorious events and celebrations that write bright pages in the modern history of independent Turkmenistan.

"In the era of Renewal of the new epoch of a powerful state, the activity of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World is continually improving. The main tasks of the Association have been defined as: assistance from compatriots living in all corners of the world in expanding economic and cultural-humanitarian ties with the historical Homeland, and the popularization of national culture, art, and traditions. I am confident that Turkmens of the world will in the future take an even more active part in promoting our initiatives to strengthen peace, security, and international cooperation, and will make a worthy contribution to glorifying the independent Fatherland on the international stage," noted President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in his message.

The Head of State's Address was heard with great attention and met with prolonged applause. On behalf of the Turkmens of the world taking part in the forum, sincere gratitude was expressed to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their paternal care and welcoming message.

The conference agenda was then unanimously approved, which included a report on the work done and a discussion of priority areas of activity of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World for the further development of the cultural-humanitarian cooperation of Turkmens of the world, in accordance with the peace-loving and humanistic principles of the policy initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, President of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World Hero-Arkadag, and now being successfully implemented by Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

During the meeting, speeches by participants on the agenda items were heard.

As was emphasized, the large-scale transformations being carried out in the country as a result of the tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the successfully implemented national programs, and the high achievements evoke a feeling of boundless pride and inspiration among our compatriots, who live in various corners of the planet and feel the care and support of their historical Homeland.

During the conference, delegates were informed in detail about the grand socio-economic programs being successfully implemented, designed to raise the welfare of the people and the authority of Turkmenistan in the world, as well as about the major international projects being carried out by our country, contributing to the further development of fruitful cooperation with foreign states.

The discussion of pressing issues at the regular meeting of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World contributes to enhancing the significance of its activities, developing positive interstate relations, and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at ensuring universal well-being.

At present, the activity of GATM's branches plays an important role in the broad popularization of the rich national culture, distinctive traditions and values abroad, as well as in strengthening friendship, good-neighborliness, and mutual understanding between states and peoples.

It was noted that GATM branch members promote, in their places of residence, the large-scale transformations being carried out in independent, neutral Turkmenistan, and acquaint others with the culture and traditions of the Turkmen people. Having studied the glorious path of their ancestors, they convey this information to representatives of various countries through electronic media and periodicals, taking pride in being descendants of a great nation. In this context, the Association's newspaper "Türkmen dünýäsi" occupies a special place.

Independent Turkmenistan continues its policy of neutrality, aimed at strengthening global peace and security, expanding good-neighborly and friendly relations, and further implementing the Sustainable Development Goals.

Thanks to the well-considered and far-sighted domestic and foreign policy of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the authority of our Fatherland on the international stage is steadily growing today. From the high podium of the United Nations and other major international structures, Turkmenistan regularly puts forward initiatives of regional and global significance. These proposals, aimed at ensuring a peaceful and prosperous life for the peoples of the planet, receive broad support from the international community. As was noted, a vivid testament to this is the adoption by the UN General Assembly of a number of resolutions on the initiative of Turkmenistan.

The speeches also paid attention to the events being held this year, dedicated to the motto of the year "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses."

In this context, it was noted that, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, a Program of horse-breeding and equestrian sporting events scheduled to be held in 2026, both in the country and abroad, has been approved. According to the document, since the beginning of the year, international celebrations and competitions have been held in neighboring and friendly states with the participation of Akhal-Teke horses — the pride of our people — and Turkmen riders.

It was especially emphasized that recently, in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, with the participation of National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag, a world equestrian sports championship and a beauty contest for Akhal-Teke horses were held at a high level, along with a number of cultural events as part of it.

Speakers, including representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, proudly noted that this is of great importance for the further strengthening of the world fame of Akhal-Teke horses and for broadly acquainting the international community with the rich culture of the Turkmen people.

Continuing on, foreign compatriots expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as to National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, President of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World Hero-Arkadag, for the opportunity to visit the sacred land of their ancestors and to see with their own eyes the grand transformations of modern Turkmenistan, whose fame is spreading throughout the world today.

Thanks to the humanitarian initiatives of Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, ties with ethnic Turkmens living abroad are consistently developing in the era of Renewal of the new epoch of a powerful state. Our compatriots actively participate in the meetings of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and other state-level events.

As was emphasized, although fate has scattered Turkmens to live all over the world, far from their historical Homeland, they constantly feel the care and support of Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The speakers also reported on their activities in their countries of residence.

In this regard, it was noted that, being true patriots whose hearts are filled with pride, they strive to contribute to popularizing, among the Turkmen diaspora and other peoples, the achievements of the Fatherland in domestic and foreign policy, as well as the peace-loving initiatives that have received international recognition.

Representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Germany, and Iran, reporting on the activities of GATM's foreign branches, proudly emphasized that independent, neutral Turkmenistan is today demonstrating in practice its commitment to comprehensively developing traditional bonds of friendship, mutual respect, good-neighborliness, and international cooperation in various fields.

It was noted that, thanks to long-established ties, Turkmens living in different corners of the world preserve and pass down from generation to generation their native language, national traditions, and spiritual and moral values.

Sharing their impressions of each visit to their ancestral Homeland with particular warmth and sincerity, the speakers stated that the amazing transformations taking place here fill their hearts with pride and joy. As was emphasized, during the years of independence, not only the capital of our Homeland, Ashgabat, but the entire Turkmen land has been transformed beyond recognition.

Speaking about the "smart" city of Arkadag, which has become the embodiment of the architectural ideas of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the forum's delegates noted that words cannot fully convey its beauty.

Participants emphasized that the construction in the city of Arkadag of a majestic mosque, designed for 30,000 people and given the worthy name "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi," evokes a feeling of immense joy among Turkmens throughout the world.

In the era of Renewal of the new epoch of a powerful state, independent Turkmenistan pays special attention to the development of the digital economy, where high indicators are being achieved in all spheres. State activity aimed at reviving the Great Silk Road in a new format, creating modern transport corridors, turning the country into a developed industrial state, further ensuring a happy life for the people, and enhancing the international authority of the Fatherland — all of this serves as a worthy example for the whole world.

The current year, "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — Homeland of Purposeful Winged Jorses," is also marked by such events as the commissioning of the Ashgabat–Turkmenabat expressway, as well as the construction in Turkmenistan of the country's first dry cargo ship, "Gadamly," which has begun operating on the Caspian Sea. Such worthy undertakings contribute to the further strengthening of the state's economic potential and to raising the people's standard of living.

Turkmens of the world, proudly observing these accomplishments, are rallying around Arkadagly Hero Serdar and National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag, who are leading Turkmenistan along the path of rapid development toward a great future. "At every step we feel the care and support shown to us," the foreign compatriots emphasized.

It was noted that neutral Turkmenistan is recognized today as a peacemaking center, a conduit of the ideals of friendship and brotherhood. The hearts of Turkmens beat in unison with the hearts of their compatriots. That is why Turkmens living in various states of the world are respected as advocates of peace, friendship, and brotherhood.

The speakers emphasized that the basis of such respect and recognition of Turkmens among other peoples is the peace-loving foreign policy of Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, based on the principles of permanent neutrality.

Our compatriots abroad sincerely noted that wherever they live, they take pride in National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, their historical Homeland, the green Flag, and in being Turkmens. Heartfelt gratitude and wishes of good health, longevity, inexhaustible energy, and great successes were expressed to Hero-Arkadag and the Head of State. Congratulations were also extended to the Turkmen people and to all Turkmens of the world on the occasion of the glorious 35th anniversary of the independence of their historical Homeland.

In addition, the significance of the latest Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World conference was emphasized for strengthening fraternal relations and solidarity, and for intensifying cooperation in the name of universal peace, prosperity, and progress.

An awards ceremony was then held for Association members, presenting them with honorary certificates.

Those awarded expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the great honor bestowed upon them and the opportunities created for the prosperous life of the Turkmen people, and for their constant paternal care for Turkmens of the world, wishing them good health, longevity, inexhaustible energy, and new great successes in their noble state activities.

At the conclusion of the XXVII Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World, an Address to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was adopted.

Participants assured that Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World members will continue to make every effort to popularize, in their countries of residence, the large-scale transformations being carried out in the independent, permanently neutral Fatherland, as well as the national culture, traditions, and customs of the Turkmen people.

The message expressed deep gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for his Address to the participants of the XXVII Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World and for his assistance in ensuring the successful and effective holding of the forum.

Participants expressed to Arkadagly Hero Serdar their wishes for good health, longevity, inexhaustible energy, and continued success in implementing large-scale initiatives of universal human significance aimed at the good of the people and the country.

After the closing of the XXVII Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World was announced, the State Anthem of Turkmenistan was performed.

A concert by masters of the arts was then held, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Fatherland's independence, featuring musical works glorifying the independent Homeland, the ancient and ever-young Turkmen land, and the hardworking and talented people of Turkmenistan.
