On September 22, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The President of the Russian Federation sincerely congratulated the Head of State on his birthday, wishing him good health, prosperity, and great success in his responsible state activities.

The President Vladimir Putin also highlighted the significant contribution of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to strengthening interstate relations and conveyed warm greetings to the Hero-Arkadag.

Expressing gratitude for the warm congratulations, the President of Turkmenistan noted that he takes the President Vladimir Putin's best wishes as a token of sincere respect and friendship. Taking the opportunity, he congratulated the head of the friendly state on the successfully conducted elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov praised the high level of the vote organization and wished the new composition of the Russian parliament fruitful work for the benefit of the country and its citizens. Arkadagly Hero-Serdar also expressed confidence in the further successful development and strengthening of cooperation between the parliaments of Turkmenistan and Russia.
