As part of the festive horse races, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the President, CEO, and representative director of «Toyo Engineering Corporation» Eiji Hosoi and the President of «Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.» Lee Kang-sok, who had arrived in our country to participate in events marking the 35th anniversary of independence.

Eiji Hosoi highlighted the significant contribution of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as that of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the development of multifaceted Japanese-Turkmen cooperation. In this regard, gratitude was expressed for the favorable conditions being created for Japanese companies operating in Turkmenistan.

After warmly welcoming his guest, Arkadagly Hero-Serdar noted that the current visit of Eiji Hosoi would give new impetus to the partnership between Turkmenistan and the company he heads.

The Head of state noted that over the past few years, major Japanese companies have implemented several projects in gas and chemical industries of Turkmenistan. Turkmenistan and «Toyo Engineering Corporation» have established a fruitful partnership.

The businessman confirmed his company’s readiness to continue contributing to Turkmenistan’s economic development.

Speaking about Korean-Turkmen relations, the businessman emphasized the significance of the state visit by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Korea, as well as the first «Central Asia–Republic of Korea» Summit attended by the Turkmen leader.
