On October 2, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a Cabinet of Ministers meeting via the digital system, at which the results of the work carried out in the country over the first nine months of this year were summed up.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Mammedov reported on the results of the activities of the structures under his supervision for January–September of this year.

Continuing the meeting, it was reported that over the nine months of the year, reforms aimed at nurturing an intellectually educated generation were carried out, and advanced teaching methods were widely introduced into educational activities. Schoolchildren and students took part in international subject olympiads, winning a total of 1,040 medals.

On the occasion of Knowledge Day and Student Youth Day, festive events were organized in all educational institutions, along with first lessons on the theme "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses." First-graders were presented with laptops on behalf of Hero-Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan.

With the participation of the head of state, the new building complexes of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi were opened, as well as new educational institutions in the Ahal and Lebap velayats, which enhanced the significance of the festive events.

During the specified period, work was carried out to increase the effectiveness of scientific research and to introduce new technologies into production. In honor of the 35th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Fatherland, academic titles of professor, associate professor and senior researcher were conferred on scientists of the country.

In January–September 2026, advanced methods of practical medicine were introduced into treatment and preventive activities. Surgeries and treatment of sick children were carried out with funds from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. In September, the month-long campaign "Road Traffic Safety – the Peace of Our Life" was held.

In addition, work was carried out to develop physical culture and sports. Turkmen athletes, demonstrating high results at major competitions, won a total of 554 medals.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov placed emphasis on the importance of consistently improving activities in the scientific and educational sphere, in healthcare and in sports. It was also noted that special attention should be paid to organizing the process of educating the younger generation in educational institutions in accordance with the realities of the times. The Head of State also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the opening ceremonies of modern medical institutions on the occasion of the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers, ensuring a high level of their conduct.
