With the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the opening ceremony of the additional new medical center complex was held on October 9 at the Arçman health resort located in Baherden etrap of Ahal velayat. Hero-Arkadag noted that the commissioning of the modern complex is one of the remarkable gifts to the people on the occasion of the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that protecting public health, developing the healthcare system and improving the quality of medical services are among the key priorities of state policy. It was noted that within the framework of the State Programme “Saglyk”, advanced technologies and international experience are being introduced into the healthcare sector, while modern hospitals, health resorts and rehabilitation centers are being built.

Hero-Arkadag noted that the Arçman health resort is one of the country’s leading wellness centers, and the newly built 400-bed medical center is equipped with modern medical facilities. The four-storey complex provides all necessary conditions for mineral water treatment, physiotherapy, herbal therapy and other medical procedures.

The speech highlighted that the Turkmen land is rich in natural healing resources, and the Arçman and Ýyly suw health resorts are widely known for their unique natural features and high-quality medical services. The activities of the Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment enterprise in Arkadag city and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need were also noted.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people stated that efforts to strengthen the material and technical base of the healthcare system will continue, congratulated on the opening of the new medical center and wished healthcare workers strong health and further success in their noble mission.
