On October 13th, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Director General of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank Leah Gutierrez.

The parties exchanged views on pressing issues regarding cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Asian Development Bank, discussed the current state of engagement, and considered opportunities for the further expansion of partnership.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to promising areas of interaction, the exchange of experience on key topics on the regional agenda, as well as opportunities for implementing joint initiatives of mutual interest.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their interest in continuing constructive dialogue and further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Asian Development Bank.
