On October 12–13, representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the fourth interregional dialogue titled «Enhancing the Connectivity Between Circular Economy, Climate Change, and Investments Through Business and Innovative Entrepreneurship». The event took place in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan) within the framework of the European Union's «SWITCH-Asia» program.

The interregional dialogue was attended by experts, scientists, and parliamentary representatives, with discussions taking place across a general plenary session and thematic sessions covering various areas.

Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan shared the country's experience in promoting green development principles and building a circular economy. They also highlighted the large-scale measures being implemented to ensure environmental wellbeing as part of the transition to a circular model.

Furthermore, the conference emphasized the crucial role of international cooperation, investments, and the interregional dialogue of Central Asian parliaments in protecting the environment and advancing the circular economy.

During the dialogue, participants learned about the legislative practices of the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the practical application of circular economy principles at the manufacturing complex of «Akia Avesto» LLC.
