On October 23, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, reviewing a number of state affairs.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atahallyyev reported on the state of affairs in the agricultural sector and the progress of seasonal campaigns in the velayats, as well as on preparations for festive events on the occasion of the Turkmen Alabay Holiday.

As reported, measures are currently being taken to harvest the cotton crop in the shortest possible time. To sow winter wheat in accordance with established agrotechnical requirements and at a proper level, practical steps are being implemented to effectively utilize agricultural machinery and equipment employed in the current campaign, as well as to carry out irrigation and maintenance of areas where seedlings have sprouted.

Along with this, preparations are underway for celebrations dedicated to the Turkmen Alabay Holiday, which is widely celebrated in the country. In accordance with an established good tradition, various cultural events are organized annually on this occasion.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the further comprehensive development of the agricultural sector and the strengthening of its material and technical base. In addition, the need to control the timely implementation of the sowing and cotton-harvesting campaigns was noted. The Head of State also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly carry out the work on growing other agricultural crops.
