On October 31, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which a number of issues of state life were considered.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seyidova reported on the schedule of the main events and opening ceremonies of socio-cultural facilities planned for November of this year.
As reported, various forums dedicated to the 2026 motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds” will be held in the coming month, including those aimed at the broad popularization among the younger generation of the rich history and culture of our people and national traditions. A ceremony will also be held to award especially distinguished young people with the “Youth Prize of Turkmenistan.”
Along with this, international online olympiads in various disciplines will be held in higher education institutions. In kindergartens, secondary schools and children’s art schools of Ashgabat, it is planned to organize the song and music festival “Gül çagalar aýdym-sazly mekanda,” as well as creative meetings dedicated to the life and work of poets and writers.
As part of the constructive foreign policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, the capital will host a Korean Culture Week and European Culture Days in November of this year, as well as a regular meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS Member States.
In addition, Ashgabat will host the 5th International Theater Festival “Theatrical Art of the Happy Era.”
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper preparation for the main events planned for November of this year on the occasion of the holidays celebrated in the country, as well as for the ceremonies of laying the foundations and opening new facilities. The Head of State instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high level of the celebrations timed to coincide with the Day of Construction and Industrial Complex Workers and the Harvest Festival.
