On December 31 and January 1, public transport in Ashgabat will be free of charge
Travel in city buses on December 31 and January 1 in Turkmenistan will be free of charge. This was stated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, having given a relevant order to the vice-premiers at a meeting of the Government today, the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television reported.
As Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized, these steps are being taken in line with the current state policy, the main principle of which is "The state is for the person!"
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the New Year is a family holiday and instructed to provide all the conditions for a worthy meeting.
