President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the exhibition, dedicated to 14th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan on April 13, reports the State News Agency.
The head of state got acquainted with dynamics of the development of the private sector of the national economy, with assortment of grocery and industrial goods, produced by representatives of the country’s business circle.
Esteemed Serdar Berdimuhamedov told with the heads of the Economic Society “Täze aý” – Guwanchmyrat Orazov and “Sahabatly” – Orazgeldy Anzarov, praising the achievements of producers of a wide range of confectionery and meat/dairy products.
The head of the economic society “Sahabatly” said that, along with the processing of meat and milk, the production of rapeseed oil, which meets international quality standards, has now begun. Besides that, Turkmen entrepreneurs have mastered the production of butter from cotton seeds.
The President of Turkmenistan noted, that the goods produced in the country, along with ensuring food abundance, must also meet the standards of environmental friendliness and safety imposed on them. In this regard, Esteemed Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed
Deputy Prime Minister Gylyjov and Chairman of the UIET Hudaiberdiyev to keep under constant control issues related to increasing the production of high-quality food products in the country that fully meet environmental requirements.
Also, the head of state showed interest in the products of the Economic Society “Aýdyň gijeler”, a manufacturer of modern industrial and electronic products.
Carpet weaver Orazgul Eyeberdyeva spoke about the work of entrepreneurs to preserve and revive the national traditions of carpet weaving, patterns and ornaments. She presented the Turkmen leader with her carpet product with an ancient ornament, woven from pure silk.
Emphasizing, that businessmen occupy a key place both in the process of expanding the scale of the non-state sector and in intensifying the entire national economy, Esteemed Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, that practical measures to support and develop entrepreneurship, including youth business ideas, would be consistently continued.
The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting the great interest shown in the review of the achievements of the UIET, ordered to extend the exhibition until April 18.
